Default tailshaft noise

so I had my brothers jeep in the air to bleed the brakes today, suspention would of been at full droop, and i was playing around with the transfer case shifter linkage to try to get it to select gears easyer (does it on the hoist great)
anyways
makes this noise, i think its from the output of the transfer case and the tailshaft

didnt have a whole heap of time to check it right out and i couldnt seem to find much play in the unis etc, yet im guessing this noise is because the suspention is at full droop (as i dont notice it driving around with the jeep on the ground) and its loading up the shaft a bit, and is the same thing that cause the vibrations when you lift them?
anyone agree or disagree?

anyway SYE is going in very soon.

Hmmm,to my untrained eye, I would say it was the angle of the unis. Looked to me like the shaft slip joint was moving in and out rapidly, in time with the noise, which to me points to the unis being on that angle. They were binding.

cheers

Mate, I'll bet that if you crawled back under and inspected the rear universal yoke, you'll see witness marks from where there has been interference between the 'driveshaft' yoke and the diff-flange. It's that contact that would have made the yoke act like a cam and to float the driveshaft in and out of the transfer.
