Default Mahindras

Hi all ...just joined yesterday ..I was googling Mahindra and ended up at this site where I noticed that some of the membership have one....I thought that I was about the last surviving Mahindra owner in Oz!!! If any one has access to a wiring diagram for a Stockman I would be grateful for a copy...I bought my mahindra in 1990..( the dealer was Reese Edwards in Toowoomba and he was very excited about the sale as it was apparently the first one in Qld)..I drove it on road for a couple of years and then it became a farm hack...needs a bit of TLC to get it right again..

Thanks for the web page link...that is the machine all right.excellent on my little bit of mountain country..can climb well and hold back on descent...have rolled it over once but it landed on its feet 20 meters down the hill with a few scratches and cracked windscreen...was able to start up and drive back to the house...will get a few pics up if I can find some in this setup...not a computer wiz I'm afraid!!

Hi 1962xk,

I have the Australian Mahindra Workshop manual and there is no complete wiring diagram in it at all. If you have problems with the engine / fuel pump then there is a little info there but any other wiring is not covered at all. Apart from the engine/gearbox sections, most of the rest of the manual is a direct reprint of any early CJ Jeep manual that covers the CJ3B. (PM me your postal address).

There is a Mahindra forum (based out of the UK), that sell an apparently more complete Mahindra service manual - I believe they hold the copyright to the service manual on behalf of Mahindra UK and Europe and that's how they fund their website etc. Search for Mahindra on AusJeep and you'll find an old post from me with the link to that forum.

cheers Matt
