I've read that helps with sound and temperature insulation, is that true?

Did a couple of jobs.....my tyres finally wore out, so I could used the wheels I bought a couple of years back with some new 285/70x17 Falken Wildpeak AT3's. The wheels are zero offset and 8.5" wide, so I needed to cover the tread....thanks to ebay, I added some rubber flares. I'd like to fit some extra wide Crusher steel flares...but maybe next year, lol.
Due to the style of wheel, the mount I was using for the centre line brake light and rear camera no longer worked, so I made a new mount to look through the centre bore of the spare for the camera and added a Rugged Ridge LED third brake light.

No photos, but replaced the EGR valve on the 3.8.
It's been giving me a p1404 error on & off, (more on than off), for the last year or so...

Oops!
I replaced my battery with an Optima D34M. It has screw terminals as well as the posts, so most connections just get secured to the threaded posts.
Then I spent the rest of the day rerouting wiring to make it a little tidier...
edit: Now with photo. Still messy, but you should have seen it before! (Ignore the coupler-tek, it was on there when I bought it 2nd hand).
