I used 13mm poly chopping board. Cut 3 discs for each side front and 2 rectangles for each rear.

I like this idea, can build it up one by one until it's extended to the absolute minimum that is required to clear everything.

Fortunately the rear is perfect to about 3mm now, I cut all the metal away with an angle grinder and just bolted the flairs back on, clears the 31x10.5s with some 10mm aluminium blocks bolted in between the bump stops and unibody.

Did you take your own advice from your signature line & google it ? LOL

I have been told there is very little difference between many of the different alternators. They just up the exciter (primary) voltage to get the higher current. ~ Happy to hear your comments!
What's the 150 out of?

I used a nylon cutting board from BigW, 10mm thick, easy to work, I just used a hole saw to cut them out and stacked 3 together to give me 30mm, they're just retained with a M6 SHCS down through the middle.
Easy, adjustable and doesn't make coil removal difficult as they can be fitted with the coils in place and the allen key is easy enough to use once all together....
