*bah* it was meant to read, have "NOT" had the same issue, in the BIGHORN. only the BUCK SHOT split at the 15" size...
as i said i've only run a "small" mud in fed's won't be going bigger than a 31" in fed however as i stated earlier it would be ideal for us to go DC FCII for our next set of tires..

Pro comp extreme muds
35x12.5x17
Same as above, shocking in the wet tho...
If I didn't brand new spare I would change brands, It rains daily here in Melb and as soon as you the roads are wet the TC doesn't stop flashing.
Road noise is rather high also.

Bridgestone Dueler M/T
I have just fitted some Bridgestone Dueler M/T D673 31x10.5 15's on the TJ. Seem to have a good straight sidewall. I reckon the tread is a lot like the BFG Muds used to be, and the availability was good. $245 a tyre (supply only) from Fremantle. Fitted them myself once back up in the Pilbara. Will see how they go on the rocks.

BFG Km2 muddies, 32x11.5x15.
Noisy as hell on road, not too flash in the wet on the road either.
Great offroad for everything i've been through.
Upgrade to a 35 next, not sure which tyres.

A vastly underrated tyre is the Hancook Dynapro Atm , I bought these for the TJ in 33-12.5-R15 spec. The tread is awesome and pretty aggressive for an all terrain tyre. They a super quiet on road , perfect in the wet and works great on the beach after you have let some air out of course. Cost was $230 a corner fitted. I have now done about 10000 km on them and they look as good as the day I bought them with minimal wear ……..definitely worth it IMO
