Default Shocked to Confusion

I'm planning to install new coil and leaf springs on my 96 XJ - which are approx. 40mm above stock - and am having trouble determining which shocks I should combine them with.
I had my heart set on the Heavy Track Koni (30-1630 and 30-134 https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...1348/overview/
; but after being told they'd be fine with up to 2inch lift, am now assured by the Aus. distributer, that they are not suited to any level of lift.

I also like the Bilstein B8-5100 s
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...180314&jsn=457
which are supposedly suited to 2-3inches of lift.

Given that the springs I am considering are under 2inches of lift; and I plan also to install Bar Pin Eliminators, my logic tells me that the Koni's would be ok, as the net lift is very small; and perhaps the Bilsteins would be too long...

I haven't had much luck communicating with reps.; and so hope someone here can put my addled mind to ease!?

My leafs are pretty much dead, and I have just put 30x9.5 tyres on...hence seeking just a wee bit of height.

Thanks for any help, cheers.

Thanks Tyvokka - I will send them a message...good to know there's a Jeep specialist not too far from me aswell(I'm near Iluka).
eksjay; my leaf springs are in poor condition, and I've decided against the respring/add-a-leaf route...I'm just struggling to circle in on dampers...cheers.
Hoping someone can tell me if either of the shocks I've quoted is workable...

I was considering the b8's for my XJ with a 2" OME lift. Am curious to see if something similar is recommended. I'm running stock upcountry shocks with the lift and so far has been fine. May be due for a refresh after 23 years though
