hi everyone haven't been on for ages, just wondering if anyone knows if a 265 hemi will fit into a 96 xj?

Anything can be made to fit but it would be a very expensive excersise.

This has been discussed many times in the past. The 265 is old. Why would you take a backward step?

thanks for the input, was just a query my 242 is sad and I know of a hemi lying around in a t-boned val just a spur of the moment thought.

wreckers and privateers will practically throw one at you, even a whole unreg jeep, for less than it would cost in just parts alone to make the mod

trying to adapt the electrics to a shitty Jeep harness may possibly result in some one sticking their head in the gas oven sooner or later
