Absolutely nothing I've read so far on this issue has encouraged me to let the stealership f**k up a perfectly good vehicle with half arsed patches they're pushing on their customers. What I'd like to know is a full list of changes the S49 and subsequent patch to S49 actually do.

I'm just not going to do it I don't think. I won't service my car at a dealer so only way it will get done currently is if there is another recall (god forbid) that is actually important.

Had the s49 upgrade patch applied today, apparently there was a second flash applied at the same time, something to do with the gearbox.
The only difference I've noticed, is the sudden surge at take of, has gone.
It won't get a good run until the weekend, so we will see how it goes then.

I'm new to the car, and as it was a demo, it had the s49 update already done.
I did notice that the car leapt off the mark, when moved from a stop, and thought it would be a pain when operating in sand.

Well the short run it has had today, the acceleration is much smoother and controlled, will be interesting to see on a longer run any differences.

I haven't had s49 yet, had been holding off, and wasn't going to bother getting at all.

08crd - do you have hill start assist turned on? Mine lurched more with that on. Now it just hesitates when going from a stop, pain in the arse when trying to get across an intersection or pull out into traffic.

The engine revs, so it isn't turbo lag, it just seems the trans slips before engaging 1st.
