Teraflex shocks are definitely better than stock but the stock ones were 110,000 km old so not surprised. Softer but more controlled. For $345 delivered I am happy. They needed replacing and I wanted something longer. I really did want bilstein 5100 but the teraflex are a fair bit cheaper availably locally as opposed to importing bilsteins from the USA.

I usually have 40 psi on road with e rated tyres so definitely a firm ride. I know this is high but it doesn't really fuss me and is good for economy. Always drop right down as soon as off tarmac.

Haven't tried the teraflex shocks off road. Will be doing so this weekend hopefully.
Cool, will be interested to hear how they go off-road. Do you know roughly how much lift you got from the coils?
Did you install any other components e.g. adjustable track bars/brackets to go with the lift or just springs/shocks?

Hard to say. I had the original stock Springs that were sagged, then I got as new stock Springs from a jku (I think) and then the suspension stuff ones. I didn't measure it as the original measurement would have meant nothing. I estimate about 2.5 inches in the front with crd, mopar bar and winch. About 2 in the rear with nothing heavy to mention. I can get part numbers but not sure if they would mean anything now suspension stuff is sold. I think one of the big companies maybe 4wd1 or something, bought out the naming rights. Unsure if product has changed. At full retail I would have bought different Springs from an American company, icon or aev. No other suspension mods yet. I drives well and I am happy. Long term I will upgrade some things to adjustable and heavy duty.

Big truck just rolled up to my door.....dropped off my new Smittybilt Atlas XRC rear bar and tyre/Jerry can carrier...

Will be doing some fitting up next break I have from work. I need to do a little mod on the carrier to change where it covers my licence plate....don't want to get pulled over for an obscured plate.

I do want to thanks Daniel at Trax Industries - not only offered a great deal on this bar/carrier as a forum special, but then let me lay-by it and pay it off. The shipping was very fast....like 2nd day from making the last payment, it's sitting in my garage.
Nice job, Daniel!

Got some DW after the lift to 3" so, after my experience with the XJ, went straight for the AEV caster correction brackets. That top right hand bolt is a real pain with the exhaust in the way but I managed to get it out by jacking up the right hand side of the engine a little and then levering the exhaust out of the way. Anyway, drives solid as a rock again now.

Here's a quick pic, from left to right, stock, lifted 3" and with occasional DW, 3" with AEV drop brackets and back to riding like stock (better actually)

Cheers
Steve

I think I'd throw those brackets on even with the smaller lifts....they say they're "optional", but I think its money well spent.

DBOR fitted my 3" Tourer Ultimate lift, including remote reservoir Fox shocks, high steer and all the goodies - plus a set of Procomp Xtreme ATs in 285/70X17. Then I received by courier two big boxes. One with my Warn bar and the other with my new Domin8tr 12000lb winch! Saturday morning under the car and this is the result. Happy? You betcha!
