Rocket -thats a brilliant resto.

What polish or combo did you use on the paintwork. Ive found everytime I try to even hand polish my CJ...the rag ends up the colour of the Jeep!

Perhaps if you show me the condition of what you want to replace in yours I can get some pics next time I am up there (they are in Bundaberg) and see if I have anything better.

Not trying to hijack your thread and will delete once you have viewed.

The entire rear of the tub is not looking to healthy and has a hard life, the fenders and rear quarter is also in poor condition.

I'm not sure i will have too much better - you can buy all those panels new from Neil Goodrich in Tamworth.I'll take a pic of the back half of a 3A that I have sometime this weekend.

yeah I know but would rather stay clear of repro tubs where possible, got to be something around..... will keep waiting, it is far worse in real life.

Preservation rebuilds are demanding more dollars than full restos because they are so much more difficult to do and becoming so rare. Ive seen barnyard finds sell for 1/2 a mil on cars that would cost 2 to 3 hundred thou to restore.
You could easily pass of the Willys as been in the family since new in the condition its in. Non-molested just maintaned.
Well done. Shes a beaut!
