I would budget for a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) at 3" you may be ok and get away with it in the short term in terms of vibes but will be a weak point. I would give wooders a call and have a good chat before deciding on a particular lift kit, regardless of which kit you choose he is pretty good with helping validate build plans with his customers and pointing out things like gearing and SYE that many others dont think to mention.

2nd that, even with a 2.5" rear and 2" front I had unexpected things spring up, taken me a fair few weeks to sort it out. And in the meantime other little surprises reveal their ugly face. Dave & Col have helped me out, well worth a chat with boys.

regards A

Had a chat with them today. They know thr stuff but don't have anything for the xj, real pity as the stuff they have on the website looks like good kit. I thought the sye was only required if the t case drop isn't done?

From what I've read it's only required with lifts over 4"?

Wooders told me the adjustable torque rod would be required but that's it.

dozer, SYE is no biggy anymore you can buy just the sye part from iron-rock offroad for about $110 +post and then just use a second hand front shaft in the rear easy as mate

Nice XJ. The rear bar is made by Kaymar not ARB. The jeep looks like it's been well looked after too

yeah jeepchik, has been well looked after.

Looks like the build is going to be getting built much slower than what i would like. Sitting here with the cash to splash and not 1 4wd shop in Australia can privide me with a good kit until atleast the end of August, how is this possible?
