since buying a xj 10 weeks agoi worked it out today the car yard has had it for 6 of those week's.
i'm wondering whats an acceptable time limit befor 1 get's the tom tit's with them.their currently removeing the engine to recon it,oil burner with 11th wear in the bore,i'm curious are these a boreable block or will it be needing to be sleeved the caryard is very help full that i am glad about

have you asked to people repairing it to check with a JEEP specialist in your area.
or even mentioned that you would like to let someone else look at it .. at thier expence of course.. not sure that will go down too well though

Get them to stroke it while they are at it. Seriously find out what the cost is thats involved in their rebuid. Considering what I just bought my XJ for, you might be able to convince them to buy you a XJ at an auction for the donor motor.
