the bolt get tourqued up the toeq turned 120'
they hold a immense amout of pressure
its simple same as a blown head gasket

again thank you Murray i'll be giving the yard a call tomorrow,hope fully the engine builder has had some experence with a VM ,i wanted Chris from RLC at capalaba to do the job,if i was to pay the yard would'nt mind at all

Sounds like nothing but trouble Benny. Keep us posted on how it goes mate as us oil burner owners need to stick together !!

the xj has 150000 k's on the clock,after having a couple of toyota diesels 1 with 500+ on them i thought i'd have a good run from a diesel,hope fully i will "when" i get it back

Benny,

The short answer is PM me your email address and I'll email you the legislation. It tells you everything you need to know. In short, they must extend the warranty for as long as it takes to repair.

well folk's who would have thought the man at the car yard tell's porky pie's rang today to see how it's traveling,to be told all is well and good ,the engine should be at the reco's by lunch time today hahaha that's after they told me it was already their on monday
