First off get a load test done on the battery and check proper earth at battery and engine, it can show up 13v but still be cactus, the jeep is power hungry and any slight battery fault will send it spazo.
Also as mentioned the door wiring harness where it is in the door jam can get breaks in it, just patch in a new bit of wire ,access from panel near accelerator and you do not have to remove door panel as the harness unplugs from the door, just lift the rubber boot and theres a plug. (at least I think there was on the WG, long time since I did mine)
Unplug and clean up every electrical connection you see, even those that would have no relation to the problem as they are the usual culprits to throw things out.
