Cut the original rock crawler bar and capped it, to make a custom stubby bar.

Reinforced the original rear bar, added some jerry mounts and had it all powder coated. Rewired the trailer plug and number plate light.

Little bit of work of late.

My track bar frame mount wallowed out till it was no longer able to secure a tapered tie rod end, decided on following what most of the yanks do with their aftermarket track bars and drilling out the frame mount and replacing the tie rod end with a Johnny Joint.
No more steering shimmy, or wobble or anything that was related to the poorly fitting frame mount.

New winter boots have been fitted.

35x11.5 Simex Centipedes, and steel dynamic 15x8 rims -25 offset
With second air bead locks!

Next up is the HP30 sitting in the shed that getting Artec truss and gussets along with a new front locker.

Looks great. I've been thinking about doing the same thing. What are the part number and were did you order them from?

I ordered from Currie in the USA.
Part will depend on the thread of your existing track bar if you want a direct swap. (Depends on what after market track bar you are currently running), otherwise you will need to weld in a thread adapter/bung etc. You can get the outer and inner to suit your application.

The inner you want:
CE-91102TB1
2 1/2" JOHNNY JOINT® BALL CENTER FOR TJ/XJ/MJ FRONT TRAC BAR W/ 5/8" (.625") THRU HOLE

The outer would be any 2 1/2" forged JJ in the thread you want.

Thanks Tonka Jeep. I'll look in to it. Just need a JJ with 7/8" left hand thread to replace the current TRE.
