Default Hammonds....Thanks for your help...................NOT!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a Hammonds built 4.0lt stroker off e-bay that came from an ex AJOR member and after installing it with its new ECU into my TJ sent it to the dyno man to get it all runnin sweet, once they set up the new ECU the mechanic tells me it wont run past 4000 RPM and starts losing power so i call Hammonds with the invoice no: and the job no: on the engine lookin for specs on it (cam/valve springs etc) only to be told it was a 4.0lt stroker with a 5302 0438 ST G2 cam and that they had no spec sheet on this engine or any other as they built them to order (how can you order the same engine as mine?) have rang then three times and spoken to Gary and the engine rebuilder but got the same response
Has anyone else had dealings with these people or bought a stroker off them?
would like to hear your thoughts (:

How is it a 4.0 if its a stroker?
Its one or the other i would think?
Does the PO have the specs of what he asked to have built?
I'd think any info required should be between you and the PO, you arent Hammonds customer, the PO is.

itchy is saying that hammonds built the motor now they will not devulge
the details of what camshaft they used to itchy or the original purchaser
so therefore finding what valve spring top use is now a problem .

so yes it does involve hammonds as they have built a big dollar motor
and will not say what cam is in it so how is itchy sposed to maintain it
and replace the valve springs .

originally a 4litre now a 4.something litre .

Gildo its a 4.7lt supposedly? but how would i know as the invoice they supplied is so vague
How can they build Hi-Po engines and not keep track of what parts they use, that to me is plain stupid. I fully understand that i am not their customer but i thought they would have said ......sure the engine has this compression, this head, these springs and the cam lift and duration is etc etc thought it would have been good customer service, be ********ed if i'd buy a hose clamp off them now!
