CONGRATULATIONS TO >> Craig "Coops" Cooper <<

Heres his winning entry.

My introduction to Jeeps came at a very early age. My Father found a 43 Willys in a hay shed in a farmers paddock and offered him $500 bucks for it. Anyway whilst out on the farm one day we where using the Willys to round up the cattle, for some reason Dad kept saying keep your head inside? I wasn't sure why he kept saying it and as a kid you always try something that you told not to do, so I stuck my head out from behind the windshield and splat a face and mouth FULL of cow shit.

Needless to say I keep my head inside now....

SOME OF THE ENTRIES

my most embarressing moment was I was out on an expedition in the Colo region of NSW and we came to the bottom of a gully with a rather long, slippery and steep climb out so doing the right thing we all got out of our vehicles to study the track, after walking the track in both directions and when it was my turn to tackle the hill i jumped back into my Jeep and fastened my seat belt and took off up the hill it was not till I was at the top that a mate called mo on the radio and asked me if I had left anything behind at the bottom I said no and he said what about your wife and sure enough when i looked to my left her seat was empty still ge hell over that from my mates

---

My most embarrassing wheelin' moment would have to be being pulled out of a bog hole by a KJ, on the first club trip I'd ever been on. At least I redeemed myself by dragging about 7 XJs + a Jackaroo up a hill after that.

---

most embarrasing jeep moment: getting stuck in the middle of nowhere in a pissy mudhole with my stock jeep. I had to walk for 2 hours to get help, then had to endure 1/2 hour of anti-jeep jokes while stuck in the boot of a Patrol!

---

not being able to get the petrol cap off to fill it up with fuel after i first bought it. I am sure that has happened to a lot of TJ owners....hehe

---

a while ago, I was driving a Landcruiser along an established track, when all of a sudden, bang!, stop, see that I've driven through a buried fence. 2 and a half hours later, I'd cut myself free.

---

got stuck on a damn eazy track in some 4" of mud... and i was being snatched out by my mate's Landy Disco, while a toyota Prado drives pass, not only he asked if i needed some help, he also asked me "he thought jeeps can go any where"

HOPE YOU ENJOYED
