Took it on the road with the trailer....noticed that when applying the brakes, the odometer and clock (digital) went out, brakes released, lights back on. Trailer plug disconnect: no issues when applying the brake....short? Where to look?

"120 amps of goodness" . Sure is shiny.
Just wondering, the PCM controls the alternator output doesnt it? So, if the standard unit is 90 amps, how are you gonna work around that, so you actually would benefit from the 30 amps more?

This is the question i have too , ie during winching will the pcm allow the alt to produce 120 amps to replenish the battery quickly ? i have noticed that the mean green alts do not list as being suitable for the update Cherokees.

I could be wrong but AFAIK the PCM controls the charge voltage not current, I've had no issues with mine (but untested at full load) since swapping from the 90a unit to the 136a unit....

Pmc only reg voltage. Under load it should feed the whole 120amps. Its from baxters Im interested to see how it gose. I was only after a standard 90amp but supplier was out of stock so we twisted there arm abit and got the 120amp alot less than normal price
