Typical symptoms of early Pentastar left hand cylinder head problems, caused by burnt out valve seats. This problem was/has been fixed under warranty by FC.Notify your nearest dealer or FCA asap.Do your homework by googling this problem.

Have a read of this:
http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0900214b.pdf
then get your local Jeep dealer to check your VIN to see if the TSB applies to your vehicle.

Cheers

Is best to get it checked & if the same problem as the TSB ask if they will cover it.

Cylinder numbering as per the service manual is:

Left side (passenger side) of engine block from front to rear of engine 2,4,6
Right side (drivers side) of engine block from front to rear of engine 1,3,5

Cheers

alot of the TSB only offer left handside cylinders 2,4. My problem is right handside cylinder 1,3,5.
