Did this at the springs this weekend, yes they are the upper control arms.

Managed to get them re-shaped and welded back together thanks to the owner of the park (Neil) allowing me and a mate to use his equipment.

Other than this was a top weekend, can't recommend the park enough.

Picked up my new control arms and lift blocks from wooders.

Have you not looked at any other vehicles door seals?
They all join at the bottom or atleast overlap at the bottom,
you don't want it dripping on you when it rains do you,

but I supose if you submerge more then drive in the rain then I can see where your coming from,
yes most new cars are a solid piece seal but it's cheaper to have a long role of seal then have 2million singles made up
