HTTPS is the new kid on the block & claims to have all the bells & whistles.

By avoiding having any personal information on any but the most secure sites is good practice.
I get many spam emails every week claiming to be from banks & similar. If you reply you are asking for trouble & a similar number of phone calls from nbn(?), solar panel people, ATO(?) & others. They become stress relief, how much abuse can they withstand before they hang up on me!

I use Duck Duck Go now as my default browser. You can also install a plugin so you keep Chrome as the browser but Duck Duck Go runs in the back ground stopping tracking cookies etc.
Since using it, I've been surprised by how much data Google tries to collect even when you aren't using it.
