Aw well. Its a jeep thing .
If you need a new pump I maybe able to help out is the pump leeking at all??

A while back when I bent my pump shaft and shattered the houseing it was t leaking, was just foaming the resovoir and making a loud whining noise.

The bearing in the front May have siezed up. I think I have a old bearing I could get the part number just in case? I changed my bearing when I did the pump just to be safe.

Thanks M.M.
It has been making a noise like a loose washer floating around somewhere. Yesterday it got to be a louder rattle & then I finished work & went to get home & 400m down the road there was a smell. I pulled over & looked under the bonnet & had a overflowing reservoir with bubbling p/s fluid.
My guess is that the guys that did my fuel pump didn't put the washers in the shaft right & it was not spinning true & stuffed the pump & bearing.
I will get the boys at work to pull it out for me & go from there. (I work at a Toyota Dealership.)
Thanks Nathan, I will ring you if I need it.
Oh, & to top it off the radiator in my spare car just shit its self. F.F.S.

Cheers guys.

I will keep you informed.

Eddy

I just checked the p/s oil level the other wee & it was fine.
There are no leaks.

We will see tomorrow

Got the trans out finally. Now I can't get the t-converter off. Any suggestions? Trying the copper head hammer and rotating the flywheel but it seems to be stuck. Has budged about 10-12mm.

Regards A

You can join the bits of carpet back together with hot melt glue & a bit of cloth on the underside.
