seeking transmission advice & parts
hi there my 2002 4.0l tj wrangler sport 5speed manual's due to have a rebuilt engine put in within the next couple of weeks & whilst the driveline is out im looking to have the transmission rebuilt as 2nd gear syncro is non existant, I see that allot of the rebuild kits don't come with the brass syncro for 1st & 2nd & am a bit confused by that, is this something that il have to hunt down elsewhere? also would consider putting in a rebuilt transmission if anyone has one up for grabs nv3550 of ax15 would fit I believe. this might be a bit of a stretch, but if anyone has the parts I need here in aus I would pay top dollar for them as to get them here in time from the states is going to cost me $250 USD in freight alone, let alone the cost of the parts. thanks any help would be greatly appreciated!
