So do you reckon that is Version 0 or Version 10 as opposed d to my Version 9?
As far as I know, it just worked first time because it took as long as they said it would to update the software, then the maps - roughly one hour then two hours. They must use the slowest USB thumb drives in the world...
Good luck with yours.
It is a pity they don't put a date on the map updates...
Cheers

I originally updated my uconnect system myself and that's what my mapping is after the 17.43.01 update.
When I took the car in for a service they said they couldn't update? They had another go last week & still failed, so have now requested a technical issue with Jeep.

They also said that the new Navigation update available is only up to 2016??
Hence why I think why they've dropped the year off the version, so people don't know....

I reckon you are right there! Everything else updates twice a year or so for free...
Pity it doesn't use the Android connection. I would use Sygic or Navigon from my phone if it did.
Cheers

As this topic is now starting to get some attention, can I ask that anyone affected by the satnav update make sure they have logged an online fault/Enquiry on the FCA online portal. After years of complaining about the quality of the map data base (Q4-2013)in my Sept 2016 delivered Overland I was also promised a complimentary update when released yet the dealer has given back the Jeep franchise and new franchise will not honour. Last weekends Sydney motoring liftout published a story from an owner going through what we have, with a commitment from Jeep to honour the update yet already they are refusing within days of the article being published.
If you have had dealings with a dealer or FCA over this issue can you please re raise it so we can finally have them honour their commitment.

Just for fun I thought I might lodge an email complaint with FCA about charging an extortionate amount for the map update.
Got a lovely response saying, "Nothing to do with us, yell at the Service Manager, it is all his fault".
Cheers
