Thought as much Clarky, noticed with my WiFi hotspot it struggled to do the same distance, used it to judge how effective wifi would be, wanted to get away with running cable if I could help it, just running the power cable for the front cam was a pain. Be awhile till I get a rear cam though.
Anyway got the cam for the front so the next time someone tries to clean me up I'll get their number at least. It picks up the number on freeze frame clear as a bell, have to try it at night but thats usually well after beer o'clock so will have to wait for the blue moon.

Gidday Drover
Almost a couple of months since you bought your Navig8r FHDGPS. Just wondering if you might have some sample footage to show us and also to get a bit of a review on the unit.
Hope it's all working well for you mate

Well the cam is working great, the picture is clear and you can read the plates when you pause it ,as good as a DVD, the only down point is the power cable is too short, you need an extension and the player supplied on disc is crap but it seems most of them are. The vid will run on normal players but if you want the map/gps to run as well you need a special player, just haven't found one that isn't buggy. Lot of hassles to post a vid but the pic is perfect, no blur, very sharp. I just leave mine hooked up, set and forget.
Getting skittish after 3 hits in 6 mths, may need front, rear and side bars.

Gidday Drover

Hope your dash cam is performing well for you.

Just found the unit that you installed in ebay for a crazy low price if anyone is interested

Not the same unit OMG, mine is the next model that has the GPS function which means when I go thru a camera I can check out on a map how fast I was going.....but that unit would be good, price is good thats for sure.
Had some good vision of belting over the Liesha Track the other week but haven't done anything about posting it here, lot of hassle.
