They asked if it was common and I said only every larger Jeep ever made since about '98, so not too many around

The other problem too would be if you have an electric braked trailer or running big bearing hubs (eg cruiser bearings) then the hub centre will be too big for the Jeep rims so you would need to run spacers. If spacers are your thing then you coud simply get the 5 x 4.5 trailer hubs and run the 5x 4.5 to 5 x 5 adaptor spacers. (Just some info not my recommendation)
I reckon to match the late Jeep pattern at the moment is more hassle than the whole matched rims issue is worth. I've never been able to run matching tyres anyway as all my previous rides had 35's and I've never come across the need to swap around or use excessive spares. If it seems that important to you it may be simplier to at least make sure you are running the same size tyres and just take a spare carcass (tyre) with you. Cheaper, lighter and you can nearly always find someone or some how to mount the tyre if needed.

Thanks fester. I am starting to think the same. Pitty though as I'm sure there would be plenty of demand as Jason pointed out.

I ended up using Toyota/Nissan 6 stud pattern, easier to work with overall and probably easier to sell if I need too.

Looked at it with my camper ages ago and too much hassle, stayed with the 6 stud Cruiser rims. Concur with fester and bodgie.
