Sounds great, have you any vids of the beast in operation? Also whats the adr side of things? Some stuff i looked up recently made me think even my shocks are illegal because i cut the original mounts off them and mig welded jeep mounts on--so its not a commercial made shock any more. So your long arms are IRO??

This is the most recent video

yes they are IRO front and rear, as for the ADR they do need to be engineered since it involves changing were the control arms mount, I am yet to organize getting it done but i have read of a few people that have already been engineered so i don't think it will be a problem.

That vid shows some great travel front and rear!! Very impressive! Do you run lockers front and rear? Any more vids? That track looked pretty steep on the vid so can imagine it was a lot steeper actually .

In that video i am twin locked, there are another 2 on my channel from before i got my rear locker.
The only steep part was around the 5 min mark, that rock is roughly 1.5m tall and on a fairly steep hill, wouldn't want to try that in a short wheel base.
As for the flex, i actually just put an extra 2" of lift in today and am planning on getting some much longer shocks, so hopefully i gain an extra 150mm of flex.

Tried out 235 85 16's (on a loan) at stock height:

Rear seems fine:

Front, tightest tolerance when turning, towards the body:

Compared to the 255 65 17's I was running and which would touch the rear arches ever so slightly:

Flex test soon, By the looks of things they might only slightly touch the inner guard in front of the tire, in front, when turning.

Removed the roof basket and lay the jack/shovel mount over (lower profile). I've lost around 100mm in height, but more importantly appear to have lost a full litre per 100km consumption. I'm doubtful this is the real saving. More testing is required. I was expecting a few tenths.
