Default squeeking clutch........

Hey guys i was just wondering if any one has had a problem where when ever u push the clutch in you get a loud squeeking sound from the peddle or cable or what ever it is ? i cant seem to find where the noise is comming from and its starting to really get on my nerves !!! pls pls pls help if you know what this issue is .

Could be your throw out bearing which is actuated when you depress the clutch.

Mine went and made a farking racket when ever your pressed the clutch in .. and you could here it but a lot quieter during normal operation.

To change the throw out bearing you might as well do the clutch at the same time as you've got to pull the gearbox off to get at it.

I have the same problem mate, only started a few months ago, my throw out bearing has started to do the rattly noise also when the pedal isn't pushed in. Pain in the ass.

I had this problem deano, chesters right on the money i changed the throw out bearing and a new clutch while everything was out no more rattling noise.

Shit that sucks. Was kinda wanting it to be simple like needing grease lol. Thanks for your help guys.

Dean, I've got a feeling the noise you're referring to isnt a throw out bearing.

Is it the same squeek even if the car isnt running and you push the pedal in and out?

yeah even when turned off it does the same noise....... any ideas CRDSTU ?
