The idea is.....Iv'e got the same noise !!

Mate there's a bunch of levers and brackets that work the mechs' for the clutch. I think its just a case of spaying a little silicon here and there to eliminate the possibilities 1st before having to resort to pulling a box......

If the engine's not running and it makes a squeak .. mine does that too .. I've just put that down to a jeep thing .. guessing it's a spring or a dry joint on the clutch pedal somewhere.

The throw out bearing is very much related to engine revolutions and no matter how borked / ************ it is shouldn't make a noise if the engines off.

i had the same, and yeah needed a new thrust bearing / clutch kit. bloody expensive job
