Question vibes.

ok so Ive replaced the front and rear lower control arm bushes.. wheel alighnment and balanced.. new front drive shaft.. and now I get vibes from about 90km and up..
Im assuming this is a diff related issue.. but not certain.. help??

admittedly the front shaft wasnt in when they replaced the bushes.. but it did track a little along the tarmac.. so Im wondering if now that the drive shaft is back in its out of alignment a little .....

the front diff is slanted forward a tad but Ive never really taken any notice of it before and cant say if its further than before..

what are your front wheel hubs like? any play in them...that will cause some wheel shimmies

or are you talking about driveline vibration when your driving?

oh I forgot to mention Ive also just replaced the front wheel unis...

the vibe starts only as I hit 90km.. and its only been since Ive added the front shaft back into the equation.. but its a brand new rebuilt drive shaft all greased up and ready to rock n roll..

so Im not sure (as Im not really educated in this area) but Im assuming its the drive shaft as it was replaced after everything else was done..

wow. youve done heaps. Listen, spend ten minutes and take the front drive shaft out of the car.
Take it for a drive.
Is the vibe still there?
If not, chances are it is a pinion angle problem associated with a lift in the suspension.
Youll need to correct the pinion angle. An easy fix at a suspension shop, or, if your handy, you should be able to do it yourself. Plenty of tips on that topic on here.

If it goes away when you take the shaft out, what else could it possibly be? Pinion angle.
Or a front drivehaft thats either out of balance, or not running eccentic. A tailshaft shop can fix that for you, make sure they check its straight if you go that route.
good luck with it, process of elimination is the only way to do it without throwing away money at unnecessary replacements.

taking out the shaft later today or tomorrow.. even though Ive just had it rebuilt.. and Ive greased it upon installation.. I did forget to grease one point from memory.. but have since bought the grease injection needle thingo so will do that.. see how it goes.. also will try your suggestion seeing as its coming out..
thankyou.. keep the suggestions flowing.. cause everytime I try using the search function I end up with about a million threads that arent even relevant to what Im looking for.
