Default Sydney Jeep servicing
Any body know of any decent Machanics that have the equipment to service JKs around Sydney? Preferably near the city or eastern suburbs. Tired of getting ripped of by the stealer.

Highly recommend Mike Connolly Automotive in Zetland. Everything is "No problem" with Mike. Good guy, good work and not far from the Eastern Suburbs too. 9319 1180.

And while im giving free plus to people im in no way affiliated to, i will get to doing a proper plug for Vic from Black Jack Welding in Perth real soon! Ill post pics of all my BJ accessories soon Vic. But in the meantime they make great stuff, AJOR vendors, and always helpful with any query.

I have to agree Mike has been the best mechanic I have known in years. He will go the extra mile to get a job done and at a good price. If you don't want brand new parts he has a few contacts in the wreckers yards that provide almost new replacement parts at bargain prices. He also did a OPEDA mod to my 06 TJ for the cost of the parts. I also had a busted up front drive shaft and a new one for a JK that was the wrong length. He sent it away to his mate and engineered a new one out of the parts for a fraction of the price. The only thing he has gotten wrong so far is he machined my flywheel when he replaced my clutch which should not be done on a TJ.

Oh and for your oil changes its best to provide the right oils or you will just get the workshop standards. But apart from that a good honest bloke who knows how to fix cars not just service them.

Ps. Don't go to him if you want a bloke in a suit to offer you a brew as they discus what is needed to fix your car. Then proceed to do half of what they bill you for!

Spent many years and good money doing the right thing by servicing my XJ at the stealer.

They used to provide excellent service at a premium.

Eventually, with new people called mechanics on below min wages, charging exorbitant fees for jobs not required, and poor service, they are no longer worthy of my hard earned dollar.
