Quality of parts is as good as what you pay. They have LOTS of options, from the cheapest of the cheap, right up to the OEM / Mopar stuff. You get what you pay for. They have little Heart symbols beside the parts that are the most popular buys, so that at least gives you an idea what parts people tend to buy the most. That being said, as we've discussed here on the forums in recent months, there are some parts you simply MUST go oem on, such as the various sensors - crank, cam etc.

When you add an item to your cart, you will see that as you browse other parts, some will show a little orange / yellow truck beside them. This indicates that that particular part will ship from the same factory as something that's already in your cart, which means the shipping costs will be SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. So if you're getting a bunch of parts, it really pays to try and mix and match what you buy in order to get it all from one shipping location if possible. More often than not, you're actually better off buying a more expensive / higher quality part in order to match the shipping location, as the higher price of the better part is still far less than what a cheaper part would be if it had to come from multiple shipping locations...

Also, Rockauto has heaps of OEM / Mopar parts for these cars that for some reason just don't appear in the list of parts when you're looking at your specific model / year. Like, I wanted to get a Mopar crank sensor from them a little while back, and the crank position sensor subsection for my 95 did not show any Mopar parts. But when I manually searched for the Mopar part number for it, lo and behold, it shows in the search results. So if you want a particular OEM part and you're not seeing it in the parts list, try searching the actual part number instead, and you may just be surprised!

Hope that all made sense. Have fun
Thank you @Sobek. Really appreciate the detailed response and the extra tips!

Anyone have any tips on finding part numbers for specific parts (sensors etc), without looking at the actual part itself and trying to find/read the p/n?

afaic, the best way is to download the Factory Parts Manual for your model

I free downloaded it from one of the USA Jeep forums (and the Service Manual)

Google is your friend

I read that USPS has suspended postage to Australia due to low plane flight numbers...dont know whether this will affect Rock Auto, but you suspect it would

The only good news is they mentioned the problem should be improved as passenger flights become more available towards the end of this year
