Busted hah!

Yeah had to get another servo (for the SCX10) as I put my really good one (24kg!) in the Venom, as the Venom's off the rocks at the moment I've put everything back into the SCX10. Also need a few T'case parts as I broke the output shaft on the T'Case (very common apparently!)

Shocks are 125mm extended and 80mm compressed, straight off the Venom crawler. They work surprisingly well for such a soft crawler coil.

I put a fair bit of weight on the chassis and its worked really well in conjunction with drilling 2 holes in the rims to let the air out.

Chris you really should get the "Kits" not the RTR stuff, they've got plastic control arms and steering linkages that you'll kill in no time trust me. Also half the fun is building the thing! It gives you a much better insight to how it all works too. Jo's a great bloke, he'll look after you big time, his prices are razor sharp and he's preparred to go the extra mile for you.

I was thinking that it would be fun building it, however you seem to pay almost the same amount and still need to buy the motor and all the electrics. If you could get the SCX10 Landrover (shorter wheel base) as a kit I'd be keen but I can't find one.

True but always remember the Warranty situation if it all turns to poo

Chris there's a Tamiya Hard Plastic Shell Kit you could get, I think she runs on the CC-01 or CR-01 Chassis? The shell is brilliant, almost too good to roll!!

I was thinking of ordering just the shell and making a replica of one of my best mates' Landy - This:
