Unbelievably surprised at how little sag or lift I got with the camper in tow. I have air bags but haven't inflated them yet due to leaks. So I have 2" ome MD springs rear and 2" HD ome springs front.
Wouldn't got near wdh with the amount of failures I've seen on 4wds that actually articulate campers and not just blacktop.

Yeah I wouldn't use them offroad, just for the long black top hauls. The ones I was looking at might be a little on the light side but then I dont want a huge force and they are easy to remove for when the black top ends! I would still run them on dirt roads too, just not on any 'off the beaten track' escapes!
I also notice notice now that the Dove is the bloody heaviest of the ball weights as they seem to shorten the vans from the rear, leaving everything in front of the axle pretty much the same. So in hindsight I would have probably been better off with a damn larger one! I originally only wanted the Swift (actually I want a hard floor camper trailer - but thats another story) but the minister of finance complained the Swift made her feel claustrophobic and it didnt have a queen bed... Would have towed much better with only a quoted 66kg ball weight.

Guys, if any of you have your main entrance door key handy are you able to take a pic of it? Or, have a look at this one and tell me if its similar to yours. I have all the black handled keys for the front boot and the side storage access doors sorted, but we can not get the main entrance door lock to work! Jayco are telling me I am using the wrong key or the lock is stiff, but I dont have any other keys that fit! The other problem of course is that the main entrance door lock is the only one without a lock/key number on it...
This is my key (or at least the only key that fits no other lock):

The main door key to my 2010 Jayco has "CAMEC" on it, but this could have changed in the last 3 years

The CAMEC key are a kit you buy from CAMEC to "key-alike" all the keys or replacement. http://camec.com/barrel-and-keys.htmlSaves having five different keys for one van???
My door key is the silver one Dave and it should lock and unlock with the door open, ie you can test to see if its the latch or the door stricker interferring. Have you open and closed the lock a few times from the inside?
The sad thing is you can just pull the velcro at the door frame and reach in and open a locked door in seconds.....so not much point locking it anyway.
Matt.

The silver key in your pic is the correct one Dave. As Matt suggested, try with the door open and the smooth side of the key up. I had issues with the recess where the latch enters as a large screw was preventing the latch to lock. Replaced screw and all was good.

Ahh. Some interesting things there, like the single key conversion. Thats now on the todo list! Strangely my key will only go in smooth side down but has so much vertical movement it just feels like the wrong key hence the question. The lock works fine from inside and yes I have already popped the velcro to test from the outside! Been speaking with Jayco today and if still no luck will pop the lock off and throw it in the car as heading down to brissy sometime next week for work. Not really a big deal anyway given the velcro security but the missus wants it to work. ..
