Not bad, keeping away from the bonnet is harder than getting to the air box IMO. It's going to breath easy by the looks of it. Be great to hear the sound from that SS pipe. [emoji39]

Yeah KKnut it now actually sounds like a V6, very throaty at high revs but not under normal revs. Engine seems to be to be driving a lot easier too, its got to be breathing easier the way it was responding to the pedal. I wasn't able to drive it yet though due to strong pain killers today.
From what I've read the powertech ECU will remap in a couple of hundred ks and I will lose what feels like a mild performance gain. That a pitty as they were talking to me about going for a custom airbox and pod filter. Coupled with a 4.7lt throttle body it could have been an extra few HP. I'm going to see how the USA lads got on with the throttle body mod before I rule this out.
Moonlight custom fabrication did the snorkel. From what the bloke, Tyrone, said it wasn't easy. The fact that the only other one you could see was the APT one, from years back, meant he was starting from scratch.
I think I got lucky picking these guys for the fabrication. Somehow he has got the snorkel to fit in the 'A' column blind spot so as not to impede the windscreen view. That's really impressive when you consider the tiny margins for error, as the bonnet and drivers side door still needs to be able to fully open without contact. I can see why there is only one other KK with a snorkel in Oz and why that fabricater didn't want to know about me placing an order-fair enough.
But in saying all that it came out at the same price as a plastic ARB Snorkel for a JK. That's incredible given this was hand crafted. I sound like I'm affiliated with these guys but I'm not, I paid full price, just happy with the purchase.
I'll put up another post on it all when I get the chance with an array of shots for anyone over East/US. I'm not able to drive etc at the moment due to post sinus op meds so give me a week max.

So while they were working on the KK snorkel a surgeon was working on yours! Bet you don't sound like a V6 [emoji23]
Somehow I fluked the front pillar but in your case they must have deliberately lined up that 3" pipe to be out of sight, which says a lot about their work. Rest up.
