The Rhino Rack mounts actually use the captive nuts in the roof located inside the rails. It doesn't 'claw' onto the rail like many other brands. From memory the front plastic Rhino feet are held down by two M6 captive nuts onto a 'U' shape bracket per side, and the rear the same with just one M6 bolt.

Very easy to install. - if you download the instructions from the website it may show you pictures.

Any queries just ask - there is a few of us on here with this rack now!

Unfortunately I don't remember the part number, but Kev is right, the mounting brackets Rhino Rack provides looks like they mount to the rails, but they actually involve removing the roof bolts (which hold the stock rails in place) and bolting through the stock rails and into the roof. RRO does something very similar. Thule and some other companies use a claw type mechanism that clamps to the stock rails.

On Rhino Rack's website I just used the vehicle selector, and that gave me the parts available for the WK2.

Hope that helps!

Default WK2 Roof rack - roof strength?

Cheers guys. Found what I was looking for. The descriptions are somewhat misleading but the installation instructions cleared that up.
