I had my lower rear control arms replaced under the recall last week. Pretty quick service at Hunter Star near Newcastle. It does ride much better, but that is to be expected as my rear lower control arm bushings were needing replacement anyway. The rear suspension feels nice and tight/controlled now. It's nice to know that is one less thing I need to worry about over the next ten years. haha. It's worth doing just to get the new bushings imho.

Mine got done today at Keema Springwood. I was waiting at the door at 7:30, out at 9:30. Time to read 1 1/2 Jeep Action mags. The new bars look bigger.

Booked in my second KJ to Mustons in Shepparton before Christmas. Told that they were on allocation & had no idea when the arms would arrive. I guess I am on the jeep Far#que.

Waiting, waiting waiting ...last communication was when picked up parts for a service ,was advised waiting for parts ,apparently ,not sure when arriving ,as parts for recall are sent out and allocated anywhere in the country ,will contact me when arriving .So ,
still waiting
Starting to wonder ,if Australia ,is starting to be a “third world “car industry .

I would ring another service centre, they obviously don't want to do this work for you. The parts are readily available through the warehouse. Chrysler Jeep pay the local dealer service dept a flat rate to do this job, perhaps it is more lucrative to just do $300 oil changes on new vehicles.
You have been stuffed around by them, they could just be telling you they are waiting on the parts even though they never ordered them - just to get you to go somewhere else. I would escalate it to Chrysler Jeep Australia, check the numbers on your recall letter.

Update.
Got a registered letter from FCA last week. so went to dealer.
Was told that I had told them that I was having it done at another dealer. ~ Total BS! I don't like liars & made it clear to them. Well surprise surprise, the arms are in the warehouse & jeep was booked in for today. They said if I got it in early it would be the first cab off the lot. was here at 7.30 when the gate first opened. Handed it over, they moved it to a service bay, it sat there for 3/4 hr, then put up on hoist. sat for 1/4 hr & then the mechanic started, took all of 10 minutes to do both, The car then sat for 1/4hr & then lowered & moved so they could use hoist. then taken for test drive. Young service guy just came into waiting room & gave me the key (9.15). Glad to be out of here. BTW thanks to Mustons for their free WIFI so I could post the commentary about it.
