Thoughts? What am I missing out on?
Big question I have for you boys is suspension. If I get the base then this is and advantage as can easliy to a lift kit and muck around with it as I presume the QuadraLift you cannot modify as cheaply/well???
- Any other mods/info/restriction greatly appreciated.
- I love the Hill Descent on Jeep, what about Diff Locks etc on Cherokee??
- FYI I will definately be going for the diesel.
I was going the P
athFinder way but there Good diesel option is $70k and I really can't stomach scratching up a $70k car, for the base Laredo I am hoping to pay more around $53k.
Cheers (and I will likely not go for Media Centre etc as I will use the one in my JK)

Hi Turbo JK,
Sounds like you're looking at the same as I have on order. Laredo Diesel, but I haven't gone with the Quadra Lift option as already on the aftermarket there are 2" lift kits available and I will only do light off road work, not rock hopping. For me the $$'s for the Quadra Lift were better spent on other access when they become available - Front Bar, Snorkel, better tyres etc.
Many of us with WK2's on order are awaiting a clear answer on the removal of the front recovery hooks. Be interested to hear what you're told when possibly buying one now. If you can let the rest of us know would be appreciated.
Unless there's a diesel on it's way that isn't earmarked for an order, expect up to 4 months wait on your new JGC.
I spoke to a new Laredo Diesel owner last week who was lucky enough to buy one of the 2011 WK2 Laredo Diesels with the front recovery hooks and He is absolutely stoked with the new model. Raved about the power, quietness, quality and ride.
Hope this helps.
