Hi Guys,

I was able to convince my fiancée to buy a 2005 black TJ (manual) earlier this year instead of a Suzuki Swift (I will say no more - except we love the TJ). I ride a 2008 GSXR 750 as my daily drive and the car therefore has to be hers as I'll never part with my bike.

After 6 months of researching this and many other sites I will be commencing a build in the next few week and will start a separate build thread to part with some of the knowledge which I am grateful to everyone for.

I have already received a 3.5 inch Superlfex lift kit that I purchased thanks to Wooders (would highly recommend them and I don't pass praise out often). I have built a set of sill protectors/side steps which are away getting powder coated (they bolt directly to the chassis rail with 8 high tensile bolts through the production holes). I am currently part way through welding up the tire carrier/tow bar. Pics to come when I start the build thread.

This weekend I hope to settle on a set of alloys. I also hope to organise a SYE and shaft, upper rear control arms, flares, and a set of 33's and the rest.

I think I should leave it there... just excited to finally start on the build. I have already had my holidays for the Jambo approved from work.

Just placed my order on a brand new Jeep Cherokee Limited Diesel with the springbreak sale. My first Jeep but I've been wanting one for a while. Having a couple of extras added and should be collecting my new baby on Friday. Not sure how but I managed to get the wife to agree to it
