Question WK2 Starter

My starter on my 2013 GC Trailhawk is on the way out. I've been to my local stealership who wants to charge $2000 for a changeover. I'd like to avoid that if possible by sourcing the starter myself and getting someone else to fit it, hopefully saving a few dollars in the process.

Problem is, I'm finding it pretty hard to find the correct part (and part number).
I've checked https://parts.moparonlineparts.com but can only find the 3.0 V6 listed under 2009.

Can someone perhaps point me in the right direction? Which parts/part number and which reputable sites do you guys use for parts from the US?

Hi just had a quick look online for you. Came across the below. This maybe an option. You would just need to confirm part number.

Thanks Dazza

According to moparonlineparts:
The part number for the 2009 model is 4801516AA
The part number for the 2014 model is 68080460AB

For 2010 - 2013 they don't list the Diesel.

So I'm still unsure which part, but I'm guessing the 2009.

Thanks TRA1LHAWK

I've had a look at that one, I'd like to go OEM, but if push comes to shove I'll consider the auto8 one.

I stand to be corrected here but I think the 2009 in a MB engine and 2013 is a VM

Dysard,
The way I understand it is the VM diesel (which you have) was not released in the US till 2014
so they don't list a diesel for a GC 2013.

Give Moparamerica your vin number and they will confirm it, it will not be the 2009 Mercedes Benz diesel, more then likely the 2014 is the same
