FARRRRRKKKK! Tiny trying to get up those dunes, there's bundy sitting at 6 grand revving the crap but all you can hear is Tiny's CRD flogging it up the sand! I'm still a petrol head though! Although some fuel economy might be nice occasionally!

desiels rev way way harder and have more torque thats for sure... i just have memories of them been dirty engines with grease everywhere... im sure thats not the case anymore...

different advice have a sit down and think long and hard about what you really want before you put any money into write a pros and cons list if that will help, on the modding bit wheel it standard than mod a bit at a time this will allow you to get used to the difference and also by using it standard you will be able to see the gains out of making mods
