Cleaned it all up, suffice for now as will be needing the winch today and next week.
inox mx3 and greased it all up, fitted and tested lever and spooling out, all OK and smooth again.
Going out for a bit of 4WD to really test the winch.

EP = extreme pressure. its grease with moli. Good on gears, ball joints & bushes, not good for u-joints & wheel bearing. its normally a grey colour. You should work it into all the gears & bushes etc. The seals just need a wipe with grease so they are not dry.

Righto. Thanks.
Took it out for a test drive out in the sticks, managed to find a firetrail.
I hooked it up, winch works fine and was operationally smooth in all aspects.
Managed to crawl up a couple of challenging rocky slopes even. Great morning out.
