Well I painted mine with 2 coats of Killrust cold primer and then 2 coats of Killrust Epoxy black, red and white with stainless steel bolts. This will colour match the rest of the Jeep. And yes I know they will get damaged but it will look nice for a few weeks . Now I need to find the time for the install.

Steve F - thanks again for taking the time to get all of us in on this deal!!

you fella's organised a killer deal, well done.
I obtained a D60 RockCrusher cover for my shaved Land Rover Salisbury diff (a D60 made under licence by GKN for Land Rover) about 4 or 5 months ago from Sean at ABT and payed significantly more than what was organised here. It still ended up much cheaper than me fabricating a plate cover, and I was sick of the modified stock cover weeping.

I hope you all washed and scrubed them out with a good brush to remove the machining debris before painting and fitting

The plug on my rear cover only screws in half way.

I have checked the plug and it screws into my front one fine.
And vise versa.
It seems to be a problem with the thread on the rear cover.

Anyone else have this problem?

Can you take a pic for me so I can pass it back to Rockcrusher. I haven't had any problems with leaking from the thread. As a worst case scenario you could try a little plumbers tape to stop the leak but you shouldn't have to, at least I didn't need to. Make sure you guys fill in the warranty cards and send them off, just because it was a group buy doesn't mean you cant make a warranty claim if there is a problem with your cover.

Cheers
Steve

The thread is pretty coarse, can you see any thing in there that might be stopping the plug, a burr or anything?

Cheers
Steve
