Happened to a mate of mine who drank a little over the limit. He drove home thinking that he'll drive responsibly because he's not drunk. Then he clipped and injured a pedestrian who had music in her ears and was too busy texting away.(f*wit, right). Both were in the wrong but being the driver, he is in deep doo doo as he was breathalyze immediately and found to be over the limit.

Last I heard the house is up for sale. Not sure sbout the family though.. What a shame because he is a great bloke.

I've chucked the $19 cooker that I bought 12 years ago in the bin. ($1.58/year). I do however have heaps of gas cans left, so time for a new one at $30, still reasonable.
Its the old style gas cans you need to throw away, the old style stoves are safe if you use the safety cans as they cant explode & if you follow the instructions on using them it would not be a problem, even with the new stoves the instructions are the same, dont put a pot bigger than 20cm on it & it wont over heat, the main difference with the instructions now is the pot size template they give you witch I think most people will just throw in the bin with the packing

Just remember, if you are one of 20 new arrivals living in a 1 bedroom flat & the gas & electricity has been disconnected as the bills have not been paid, dont use one of these stoves to cook a pot of curry in a 20 ltr pot for all 20 of your flat mates. if you want to do that best do it on a bonfire in the back yard.
