Default First mods

Hey guys. This topic pops up a lot so thought this might be a useful topic for the week. What should be the first mods for any new Jeep?

Any mod that also catches up on overdue maintenance is a good ides.
A small lift.
Extra cooling is always handy.
An in car cam & UHF
If its diesel ~ a boost gauge & an EGT gauge sensing before the turbo.

My xj being set up for basic touring....

Had a small lift and 30's

Basic maintenance before anything.
First mod was diff breathers - far more important than a snorkel.
2nd will be extractors(necessity) and a snorkel.
3rd will.be cargo barrier and draws.
Then I'll be working on the interior, seats, stereo, Uhf, gps etc.
If the bank ever recovers then barwork/sliders/winch and finally lockers.

If it was a toy the order would be very different.

When is back on the road my first mod is to repair anything I notice isn't right.

Then
Replace horriable purple tinting with nice tinting
Destroy the tape deck in the dash, maybe with fire.
Recovering Kit + First Aid Kit
Bash plates and a winch bar with winch.

Then its a look and see how I feel.
There is always the list of maybes like, driving lights, lift kit snorkel etc.
