Default Refueling problems

Nothing came up on thos topic on a search sorry if it's been covered before. When refueling i barely manage about 2 litres and the nozzle clicks so you let go and start again 2 litres clicks again so filling the tank is a very slow process it doesn't seem to matter how hard you pull the trigger or if you jiggle the nozzle round to different positions. Is there a breather or such setup to allow air to escape as you fill that may be blocked

I can't comment with any authority on the KJs but this is also a well-documented issue with the TJs as well.
When re-fuelling my TJ, I don't 'fully insert' the fuel nozzle - only inserting about half-way, then it refills without clicking off all the time.
Don't know if this will work with the KJs but it's worth a shot

with my TJ i hold the nozzle in halfway @ about 45 degrees or more from vertical depending on the pump, goes alright. you might have to experiment.
a couple of servos here in SA have high pressure pumps these work really well just a little blow back at full up mark (about teaspoon) dont know if this is now common round aus.

I've tried half in different angles different servos. No high pressure pumps unless you run om diesel mine is petrol

This has been a well known problem with the CRD for years and usually because of hi-flow nozzles. If you avoid high-flow nozzles there is no problem. In your case perhaps your tank breather is blocked and creating an air bubble. The tank breathers are located on top the tank and maybe reached from the rear on left side. There is also a filler neck breather. Diagrams of location is in the Service Manual.
