while we wait for you to substitute your private porn for a Jeep vid lol

lets get back to basics...you have a older "square shaped" '96 correct ?

do the "gen" and "engine check light" illuminate for 3 secs when you turn key to start ?...the fuel pump should also prime...this should mean your computer (PCM) is working

have you ruled out the ASD relay...car wont go without it

have you determined if there is 5V supply to Cam and crank sensor power wires by backprobing their connectors ?...like scannerdanner

You have indicated as far as I can tell, that you have 49psi fuel pressure, but no spark or injector

I am asking these questions to try and rule out a possible PCM failure

I dont think thats good...I think that 3secs is the time that the PCM checks everything is ok, and if not, shuts down the ASD relay.

however you say you have fuel pressure..and 5v supply at the sensors, so that is contradictory for a bad PCM

next question could be does the fuel pump run for 3 secs ?

it is quite audible...preferably get someone else to turn the key...but you can still turn the key yourself, and hear it buzzing near the tank if you are quick

did you download the '97 service manual ?

it gives a detailed explanation of how the ASD relay operates upon power being applied

in addition, check all major earth and power cables and connectors..the main PCM earth is 2 nuts on the engine block near the coil

Some times it runs for a couple seconds other times it runs much longer. Yeah I did download. Bit worried about using it though as some of the wires are different colors to what is stated..I actually cranked it yesterday and it fired and then just died. Bit worried about buying another PCM. They aren't cheap. My lady is going to kill me if I buy more stuff for this car!!

Don't worry I've been checking to see where I can get one if needed got this from a company in USA:: We have this unit in stock, it comes programmed plug and play, with a lifetime warranty for US$209.99. If you would like to purchase this unit I can either send you a paypal invoice or give you a call.

Shipping to Australia is US$100.

pull the shroud of the stering column and have a look at the ignition switch.

if it looks like this- nasty black on the left- then its fvked.

looking at the video i would be testing for IG+ to the computer. Does it come on with the key and stay on?

- anything is possible- I get the impresiion the pCM is trying but somthing is getting in the way- rather than the PCM is fvked.

if you can borrow a scanner see if that will work.
