Can anyone confirm the correct filter for the MY18? Sparesbox/Supercheap/Western Filters all list slightly different parts with Sparesbox having both a cartridge and metal cased filter option.

Picking up the new (to me) Trailhawk on Friday and want to give it an oil change on the weekend so I have a known starting point.

I use RYCO numbers as a base line, far easier to cross reference:
OIL: R2736P make sure it matches as listing on other filter lists for JGC may show it to be different, you want the one for a Captiva diesel actually. WESFIL WCO154
AIR: A1847
FUEL: R2745P

Drover - can you confirm that the oil filter - WCO154 - you recommended, and noted as suiting a Captiva - does have the "O" ring in the same position as a WCO201?
I believe the WCO201 is the filter normally listed for the later JGC models.
Just as an example Sydney Filters list the WCO201 for the 2014 onwards JGC CRD and priced at $18.00.
They have the WCO154 at $24.00.
I've used the WCO201 for 10 changes, to 100K, in our 2015 CRD with no issues (so far)

The Wesfil is what I have on my list but havent used one, the Captiva 2.2 diesel is the correct filter though the O ring being at the end of the flange, use them from xxx. The Ryco number is the correct number and filter. I have used the earlier filter with the O ring close to the filter with no dramas but prefer the later one to be safe.

Have used high O ring filters and ones with low O ring, each performed the same for me with no issues.

I think the O ring position was more of an issue on some RAMs due to slightly different filter housing.
