Mine is also around the 8.7 to 9.5 mark. Happy with that. Towing with 3.1t is around the 16.8 to 17.5 mark, depending on terrain and wind direction. Happy with that as well

Great car

Ed

Average around the 7.5 - 7.6 on the highway, this was what we averaged from Newy to Coffs and Back. Just filled up at Heatherbrae. That current 3 L/100 was backing off coming up to Hexam Bridge, wife leaned over to take the snap

Ok, driver has a LOT to do with it. On the highway (2017 GC Trailhawk) I average around 8.2. Around town I average around 10.5.

However... my wife averages around 12.5 around town in it. Her regular car is a Cooper S and I think she drive the GC like the Mini.

Fill the tank and do a real lph test both hiway any city, then you will know if the dash figures are correct.Plus run a bottle of good injecter cleaner in the tank.

Well you guys "forced" me to act my age and drive accordiangly....
Drove today for 25km.
Kept the revs under 2000, shifted to a higher gear (when the car allowed me) and got a consumption of 8.8lt per 100...
I guess my GP is right... need to loose weight, especially in the my right "led" foot

I'd add that driving for absolute best economy is not necessarily what's best for your engine health.
