Hear you loud and clear mate, was with AAMI for like 15 years ,attained Diamond status but their premium kept going up & up & up, moved over to NRMA now the same shits happening with them, I understand premiums rise but not $500. and NO bloody claims.
Last renewal I went in and seen them, ended up paying roughly the same premium as last time, I said each time renewal comes around,I shouldnt have to come in and grovel, we have 3 comprehensive policies with you, as well as 3 Greenslips, roadside assist for my Hilux, wheres the Loyalty and their words were " Lets have a look at your policies "
GIO is $150 per annum cheaper inc Windscreen and Glass cover as well as $ almost $3000 increase in agreed value
IF you are over 50, Australian Seniors offer Unlimited KM, windscreen cover, same insured value as GIO, but at 2/3rds of the required premium. Actually reviews for this mob come up pretty bloody good as a lot of Grey Nomads use them whilst towing as they also pay good money towards getting the van back on the road due to an incident, alot cheaper premium again if you nominate annual KM.
I would really like full Glass cover inc windscreen as I shudder to think what a back window in the tailgate would cost.
Club 4x4 was quite pricey and the maximum insured sum was an insult.
Ive still got a month to check more out , rerad reviews, but agree totally agree with you Troutman and Ive let the Insurance companies know, ( LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING )
